How does CEEF Benefit Lawson? CEEF provides supplemental site discretionary matching funds for arts and technology programs at all 25 schools. These funds are raised through CEEF's annual Gala and Golf Tournament. Over the past two years, Lawson has received over $16,000 from CEEF for library books, professional development for teachers, emergency kit supplies, and science materials. In school year 2009-2010, CEEF will provide: - $75,000 towards site discretionary matching grants for arts and/or technology resources at all 25 district schools
- $100,000 in support of math professional development for teachers that will help to better prepare our students to compete at a world class standard.
- $300,000 to sustain the certificated music program in grades 4-5
- $100,000, distributed on a per pupil basis, for music in grades 1-3
Over the past two decades, CEEF has granted over $12 million to the district to support districtwide literacy, math, science, arts and technology programs.
