How does CEEF Benefit Lawson?

CEEF provides supplemental site discretionary matching funds for arts and technology programs at all 25 schools.  These funds are raised through CEEF's annual Gala and Golf Tournament.  In 2007, Lawson received $3,000 for its performing arts program and technology professional development for teachers.

Over the past two decades, Lawson has received over $11,000 from CEEF for library books, professional development for teachers, emergency kit supplies, and science materials.

Additionally in 2007, CEEF contributed:

  • $250,000 toward the districtwide technology upgrade, and will provide
  • $500,000 over the next five years as part of the new Math Initiative Campaign that will seek to better prepare our students to compete at a world class standard.

Over the past decade, CEEF has granted over $10 million to hte district to support districtwide literacy, math, science, arts and technology programs.
