Annual Recognition Awards:

Sandy Liu Community Service Leadership Award – The Sandy Liu Community Service Leadership Award honors a member of our local community who has demonstrated exemplary leadership in service to the children of the CUSD. Nominations due by Friday, February 16. Nomination form and guidelines are available here. This year’s recipient will be honored at a CUSD Board of Education meeting.

Patricia M. Lamson Endowment Fund for Reading Literacy Scholarship – The purpose of this scholarship is to honor exemplary instructional efforts in English Language Arts within CUSD. Applications due by Friday, February 16. Application and guidelines are available here. The 2024 recipients will be honored at a CUSD Board of Education meeting.

Innovative Technology Educator (ITE) Awards – CEEF recognizes the importance of supporting CUSD teachers in their efforts to explore and develop effective teaching practices, learning strategies, and assessment tools.  We hope that this recognition will serve as an important means for increasing the exploration, creation, and sharing of “best practices” in the implementation and integration of instructional technology in the classroom.

Lucretia Van Horn Memorial Art Award – The purpose of this endowment is to celebrate the arts by recognizing outstanding middle school artists in the Cupertino Union School District.

Grant Opportunities:

CEEF is hosting a Teacher Grant program again in 2023-2024 to give grants to teachers in the Cupertino Union School District to support improved classroom education.
